SNMP++v3 is compatible to the original versions of SNMP++
SNMP++2.6 or SNMP++2.8 available from
http://rosegarden.external.hp.com/snmp++ if you #undef _SNMPv3 in
the file snmp++/include/config.h of the SNMP++v3 package.

SNMP++v3 includes several bug fixes to the original versions, which
are listed in http://www.fock.de/agent++/fixes.txt

Peter Mellquist (the author of SNMP++), Jochen Katz and me are trying to

migrate SNMP++v3 to the "official" SNMP++ 3.0 (or whatever version
number it will get). May be Peter Mellquist has more informations?
