Problem creating SNMP++ session

Hi,

I'm using Agent++v3.4d with SNMP++ v2.8a on a SOLARIS 2.6 platform.

When I execute my agent I get the following run-time error:
"SNMP++: Transport operation failed"

Using a debugger I tracked the error to the line of code that creates the SNMP++ session:

Snmpx snmp(status, port);

The port value is 161 and  status != SNMP_CLASS_SUCCESS.

I'd appreciate any feeddback.
