AgenPro2.0 compiling a repository

Hi Frank,
	There isn't a MIB module called QUANTUMBEAM-TC in the repository. I
have a number of .txt files that make up the MIB I am trying to compile so
the first job (as I understand it) is to compile the .txt files into a
repository so that there is a MIB module. It is during this phase that I am
encountering the problems. The file QUANTUMBEAM-TC.txt starts as follows:

QUANTUMBEAM-TC DEFINITIONS ::= BEGIN

IMPORTS         TEXTUAL-CONVENTION      FROM    SNMPv2-TC;

SerialNumber ::= TEXTUAL-CONVENTION

...

It is during the compilation of my MIB .txt files that I am getting the
error:
"Imported MIB module QUANTUMBEAM-TC unknown"

My MIB .txt file (QUANTUMBEAM-MLINK-MIB.txt) starts as follows:

QUANTUMBEAM-MLINK-MIB DEFINITIONS ::= BEGIN

IMPORTS
        MODULE-IDENTITY,
        OBJECT-TYPE,
        NOTIFICATION-TYPE,
        Unsigned32              FROM    SNMPv2-SMI
        DisplayString,
        RowStatus               FROM    SNMPv2-TC
        OBJECT-GROUP,
        NOTIFICATION-GROUP      FROM    SNMPv2-CONF
        qbProducts,
        qbModules               FROM    QUANTUMBEAM-GLOBAL-REG
        SerialNumber,
        HardwareVersion,
        SoftwareVersion,
        Percentage,
        InterfaceType           FROM    QUANTUMBEAM-TC;

qbMlinkMibModule MODULE-IDENTITY

...

Hopefully this helps explain things a little more.

Thanks for your help.
Regards,
Neil.

Hi Neil,

Does a MIB module with the name QUANTUMBEAM-TC exist
in your MIB repository? You can check this by using
the "Open MIB module" dialog.

Does the file QUANTUMBEAM-TC.txt start with (without
quotes):
"QUANTUMBEAM-TC DEFINITIONS ::= BEGIN"?

May be you have not used the same name for the module
and the file. What counts is the module name in the
file.

Hope this helps.

Best regards,
Frank Fock
