[AGENT++] SNMP4J v1.0beta Released

Hi,

We have today released the Java 2SE 1.4.x sources for SNMP4J.
Its a free (Apache 2.0 license) open source API that supports
SNMPv1/v2c and SNMPv3 with MD5 and SHA authentication
as well as DES and AES(128,192,256) privacy.

UDP and TCP transport mappings are supported out-of-the-box.
Through its object oriented design many characteristics of the API
can be customized.

In contrast to other SNMPv3 Java APIs, SNMP4J supports
command responder applications as well as command generators.

SNMP4J can be downloaded from http://www.snmp4j.org
