[AGENT++] How to add trap IP addresses?

Thanks for the reply!
Is there a way that someone explains how to set those values at run-time? My attempt was to initialize everything at the startup and leave it as is. That was partially due to short deadline, and due to the set of requirements that I have to meet. Administrator will set all of the values at the beginning and possible changes to the environment (NMS IP address is the least expected to change) where agent will run are not of concern at the moment.
So, objects that I am interested in are:
- snmpNotifyEntry,
- snmpTargetAddrEntry,
- snmpTargetParamsEntry.
snmpNotifyFilterEntry and snmpNotifyFilterProfileEntry would be next to add, but they could be skipped at the first draft.
I have full user authentication and privacy already added at the startup and this is the last piece of the puzzle. Any idea how to do it regardless of the persistent object discussion?
Thanks a lot!

Well, you can set this through SNMP, using the SNMP-TARGET-MIB and the
SNMP-NOTIFICATION-MIB objects (RFC 3413). This would seem to be the obvious
way to do it because you might not know the IP address of the NMS when you
setup the agent or it might change and you do not want to go back to the
agent and update it manually. It can all be accomplished remotely. These
MIBs allow the entries in question to be marked "nonVolatile" but Agent++
currently only saves them when it terminates normally, which might never
happen ... See our discussion on "Explicit save of persistent objects" for
the current status.

Henning
