[AGENT++] About trap

Hello,

I want to make my  agent send a  trap when it has been on for 30 minutes . I add the snmpGroup mib . And I want to send the trap by judging the variable sysuptime . Am I right? If I fetch  the value of the variable sysuptime all the time ,it will affect the performance of  the agent. How can I do?

Could you give me some advice or some examples?
