[AGENT++] help required regarding trap snmp3 message format

Hi,

I want to sending snmpv3 notification using SNMP v2 message format with USM.

As i was going through AGENT++ and SNMP++ code i understood that we can send notification using 1.  mib::notify() method 
2.  notificaitonOrginator class.

I wanted to know which method is best to use and where should i set the USM properties.
