Yes, I have the same gcc version as the user in that thread.  Is that the 
'xcode-users'
mailing list? All the email addresses are hidden.  I built the agentpp 
library this
morning using auto tools (custom autogen.sh, configure.ac, makefile.am)
on the Mac, but that did not make a difference either.

The error goes away if I build using auto tools or 'make -f Makefile.linux 
lib', but
the library still has the problem anyway.
