the problem occured while querying private mib entries of a lexmark 
printer. As long as a manufacturer can use the private mib section as he 
likes to and there is no rule which prohibits him to keep ip address 
values empty, i think its rather an "unconventional" behavior than a 
misconfiguration of the device.
