Dear MIB Explorer Users,

MIB Explorer v1.7 beta is now available for download from
http://www.mibexplorer.com/mibexplorer1.7beta.zip

This version adds snapshot support. Snapshots can be taken
from the browse panel and the mib tree, thus from the whole
agent, sub-trees or a set of sub-trees event from different
targets. A snapshot can be saved to a file and later browsed
with the snapshot browser.
The snapshot browser allows to restore values to a target.
Last but not least, snapshots can be visually compared.

The snapshot area is currently in beta state. It needs more
testing with different scenarios.

All other parts of MIB Explorer 1.7 are ready for release!

KNOWN ISSUES

There seems to be a problem in or with JavaHelp 2.0 in conjunction
with Java 2SE 5. This problem is further investigated...
