[SNMP4J] SNMP4J v1.7RC1 Released

SNMP4J v1.7 RC1 has been released today. It can be downloaded
from http://wwww.snmp4j.org

SNMP4J-Agent 1.0 beta will be released end of March 2006.
It will then provide full Proxy-Forwarder support. In
addition the SNMP-COMMUNITY-MIB, the SNMP4J-CONFIG-MIB
(to load/store configuration), and the SNMP4J-LOG-MIB
(to control logging) will be added.

SNMP4J-AgentX 1.0 beta will be released in April 2006. The
subagent implementation is now nearly complete (except
shared table support).

RELEASE NOTES

* Improved: Logging interface enhanced.
* Added: Variable.toInt() and Variable.toLong() to reduce
   casting when converting to native integer or long values.
* Fixed: OID.mask.
* Added: When PDUv1 decodes a Counter64 object, a
   MessageException is thrown.
* Added: OID.successor() and OID.predecessor().
* Fixed: ThreadPool.stop() blocked.
* Fixed: Additional retries with sync requests when first
   try failed and second (or second to last) succeeded.
