[SNMP4J] Problem with Port Forwarding in SNMP4j

  I am working on a J2EE project. This is a n/w related project. Its one of the requirement is to snmp query the devices of the Customers which are being monitored. These devices are customer specific and can be accessed only through the customer portal. As per the architecture of the prj, only by doing port forwarding from the application server through customer portal to device, these devices are reachable. I am using JSch to connect to the remote devices by doing port forwarding through the customer portal. 
   
  Is it possible to use port forwarding in SNMP4J? I have successfully used JSch for getting the ping response from device. Tried doing some modifications in SnmpRequest.java for port forwarding, but it didn't work. The result I am getting is always empty string.
   
  Please could you provide me information on this and help in resolving this problem.
