[SNMP4J] SNMP4J Generics and Callable

Hello everybody

I would also be interested in either contributing to a more modern
version of SNMP4J. If we are moving forwards in JVM, might I suggest
we start using assertions, the are available since Java 1.4 and have
no overhead if disabled.
