[SNMP4J] Pulling router tables using SNMP

Hi,

I'm trying to figure out how I might go about accessing routers using
SNMP.  What I'm interested in doing specifically is pulling out the
networks a given router/switch will send traffic to.  I'm thinking
accessing the spanning tree information a router might contain.

I'm new to SNMP so I'm just trying to find any information related to
doing this.  I've read the more general purpose knowledge around SNMP
(i.e. RFC), but it's not obvious from reading that how I can access
this information.  I'm curious how I might go about pulling this
information from routers/switches/firewalls using SNMP4J.  Any info
would be helpful.
