[SNMP4J] SNMP device discovery

Hi all,

Im totally new to this mail list. :-)

 

For my program I need to know how can I use SNMP to get the device name in a
network device,

 

Scenario is : I have the IPs of the active devices in the local network and
I need to know the device names of them. For an example, a router in the
local network may have many IPs as it have many interfaces. So I need to
know the name so I can identify it correcty. Ultimate goal is to plot the
network. Im kinda new to this snmp4j . so can anyone help me with this.
