Hi Frank,

my post has not been approved yet.
What is stalling it? Is there a rule I'm missing here?

Generally, were the AES-192 and AES-256 features tested with Cisco
devices?

thanks,
Elad.

Subject: can't query AES192 and AES256 with Snmp4j

Hi,

I am using V1.7.1.
When I use the snmp4j.exe tool to query a Cisco device using AES128
encryption, it works.
When I try to use the same for AES192 or AES256, the device doesn't
respond. even not with a Report PDU (used ethereal, saw that an
encrypted PDU was sent to the device and nothing came back).

I have the security policy files installed. Before they were installed,
a different error had occured. So it probably isn't the reason.
The device is configured correctly, and traps/informs are being sent
from it with AES192 and the right credentials.

What is the problem?
