[SNMP4J] USM question

I'm quite new to this topic so please be patient with me ;-)

I'm trying to build a very simple agent with a few scalars (for test 
only). This program is only a model for a "real" application. To make 
things simple I took SampleAgent.java as an example and put my scalars 
into it. I see that user authentication is done via the property file. 
My question is how can I (using this agent model) do it 
programmatically? Or should I use some other agent models? Please give 
me a hint.
