Hi Senthil,
Simply use http://www.snmp4j.org/doc/org/snmp4j/security/nonstandard/PrivAES192With3DESKeyExtension.html
as privacy protocol.
Best regards
Frank

Thanks Frank for your quick response. Great support.

Can you please throw more light on Cisco specific protocols provided by
SNMP4J for AES 196 and above. If possible pls share any sample code for
AES196 using Cisco specific protocols provided by SNMP4J.

Thanks

Hi Sen,

For Cisco devices you need to use the Cisco specific protocols provided
by SNMP4J for AES 196 and above. Cisco implemented a different key
handling than the proposed IETF protocols. Unfortunately there is no
standard defined

Hi,

I am getting no response back from a Cisco 2811 device when using
AES192/256 and 3DES. DES and AES 192 are working fine. I have also
included the "unlimited policy strength" JCE files under JRE but not
seeing any difference.

Is SNMP4j support privacy protocols AES192, AES256 and 3DES? If so, Pls
check the attached the code and let me know what I am missing.

Thanks,
Sen
