RELEASE NOTES

SNMP++v3.1.4b (since v3.1.4a):

- Fixed: Possible crash in ASN.1 BER decoding
  caused by incorrect SNMP BER encoding.

MIB Designer v1.7.7a (since v1.7.6):

- Fixed: Parser will no longer reject inconsistent
  STATUS clauses of object groups and compliance
  statements. Also this behavior was recommended by
  "Understanding SNMP MIBs", the IETF has clarified
  STATUS clause maintenance in RFC 2580.
- Added: Check for inconsistent maximum access clause.
  If a row has a column with MAX-ACCESS of
  "read-create", then no other column of this row
  may have a MAX-ACCESS clause of "read-write".
- Fixed: Incomplete sub-tree dump if trap-type with
  no variables is dumped.

- Fixed: Parser always parsed status clause of
  AGENT-CAPABIITIES and MODULE-COMPLIANCE as "current".
- Fixed: Removed hourglass when compiling MIBs.
- Improved: Compact JAR file.

MIB Explorer v1.0 beta3 (since beta1):

- Fixed: Possibly incomplete subtree dump.
- Added: Resend button in PDU result dialog.
- Fixed: Removed quotes from description and other CDATA
  output from the XML export.
- Added: Autoselection of MIB modules in the modules table
  that define the selected MIB object.
- Fixed: Problems with modifying IpAddress, BITS, and Opaque
  syntaxes in the PDU panel.
- Fixed: XML DTD violations.

- Added: XML export using SMI DTD v0.1 (expired Internet Draft)
- Added: SNMPv3 time synchronization when contacting v3 agent for
  the first time.
- Fixed: Missing class in JAR file (could have caused "hanging"
  progress bar when compiling MIBs).
