trap filtering on subagent?

Is there any way for a subagent (AgentXSlave) to designate the recipient
for a trap and convey that information to the master agent(AgentXMaster)
? I am trying to setup a single subagent to originate all traps for the
system and am hoping to perform destination addresses filtering on the
subagent rather than the master. Can a subagent convey to the master a
"forwarding address" for a notification PDU (SubAgentXMib::notify()). Or
must all the functionality for address lookup and filtering
(snmpTargetParamsTable, snmpTargetAddrTable, snmpNotifyTable,
snmpNotifyFilterTable and snmpNotifyFilterProfileTable) reside on the
master?
