FWIW, I had to make the following changes to the source package in order to 
obtain a successful build and link of the current SNMP++. This is using g++ 
3.2 under Solaris 2.8.

1. In config_snmp_pp.h:
  a. #undef SNMP_PP_IPv6
  b. #undef HAVE_INET_ATON

2. In address.cpp
  #define INADDR_NONE  ((in_addr_t) 0xffffffff)
