[AGENT++] Notification Question

To clarify my question a bit:

If I would like to add a row to the snmpTargetAddTable I should set the value of snmpTargetAddrRowStatus to 4 or 5 right? This should give me a new row in this table. Can someone please give me a code example for this set_request, since I can't seem to get it working...

Best regards

Mads

Hi Mads,

I am not sure if I understand your question right, but configuring the targets from the management station is as simple as sending the appropriate SNMP requests to your agent. Just create the appropriate row in the snmpTargetAddrTable of the SNMP-TARGET-MIB.

Does this answer your question?

Best regards,
Frank

Currently I am adding the IP within the agent code itself, using the SnmpTargetAddrEntry::instance->add_entry. I would like to dynamically add receivers from the management application instead.
