[AGENT++] Net-SNMP and AgentX++

Has anyone used net-snmp's snmpd as a master agent on linux with subagents 
built using agentx++ library? I am using net-snmp version 5.1.2 on 
Enterprise linux 4.0 and the latest agentx++ version. My subagent registers 
fine with the net-snmp master agent and they both exchange all registation 
information fine. But when I request for a OID known to my subagent, 
net-snmp master doesnot forward the request to my subagent instead just 
returns "noSuchObject". I am using the snmp4J command line tool to send the 
GET request and I am using SNMPv2, public community.

Is there any additional confiiguration that needs to be done? All works well 
when I use the master agent example that comes with agentx++ library.
