[AGENT++] i dont know about agent++ functions API

hi,all:
    A basic question: How the agent process snmp get/set? The functions such as get_request, get_state, set_state, set, and so on, i want to know how it works? First call get_request() or other function?  It is a puzzle. 
    And i want to get the detail about these functions as get_request(), set, get_state... The documents in \agent++\doc\html\ doesnt show all of them? 
    Please help me, i am a new user!
