[SNMP4J] Agent release timescale?

I've just started looking into SNMP and have been impressed by SNMP4J -
congratulations to all involved (especially Frank). It seems to blow
away the competition in terms of free Java SNMP implementations.

One of the things we're looking to implement is an SNMP agent. I've
successfully used the 1.0 alpha 2 agent, but obviously shipping anything
with alpha or beta code is undesirable. Does anyone (Frank? :) have any
idea of the timescale for the agent being released? Is there anything an
individual (with a bit of time but not a lot, and a fair amount of Java
experience but no real SNMP experience) could do to help?

(One thing I could do to start with is fix everything so it builds in
Eclipse without any warnings - there are a few unnecessary imports etc.
Not a major problem of course, but worth looking at.)
