[SNMP4J] Help with getbulk on a v1 or v2c agent

Hi, I'm sending a request GETBULK on an agent (not snmp4j agent).
the oid is a.b.c
I know that a.b.c will not return anything, but
a.b.c.x and a.b.c.y exists

If I use snmp v1 protocol, the GETBULK is converted in GETNEXT and it works
fine, but if I use snmp v2c,
response pdu contains 0 variables in variable bindings.
I tried the agent with MG-Soft Mib browser and the GETBULK works fine.
any idea of the problem I have ?
