Hi Frank,
I understand. However, I think that there is a lot to be gained by
having the daily snapshots available, even if it is pre-beta.
Personally, I'm at a point where I would like to implement basic the
operations of the AgentX protocol within the coming week. My options
are to simply roll my own implementation, but given the progress
you've made that seems like duplication of effort and a waste of time,
or, I was hoping, to use the unfinished AgentX impl that you are
working on.
I mean, even if your impl is hopelessly unfisnihed it must be better
than to start from scratch - especially if I intend to replace
whatever I code with the snmp4j implementation as it becomes
available.
(Actually,my original plan was to implement AgentX and donate it to
snmp4j, but seeing that you are almost finished with your
implementation that plan didn't work out.)
So is there any way I can make you reconsider regarding the
availability of the AgentX code?
/LS
